WoT: Pre-Redesign Stats for the “Airfield” Map

Since “Airfield” (source) will also undergo major changes in the upcoming patch, let’s log its current statistics—just like we did with Ensk—and revisit them two weeks after the redesign goes live.

Mode Availability: Random Battles only (as of Patch 1.28)
Base Win Rate Balance: The lower base (right side) has a lower win rate
Win Rate (Lower Base): 47.21% — right in the middle compared to all other maps, making it a solid average performer
Average Battle Duration: 8:13 minutes — ranks in the Top 3 longest-lasting maps
• Only Malinovka (8:58) and Prokhorovka (9:37) have longer durations

We’ll definitely return to these numbers after the map’s redesign goes live.

  1. Instead of re-designing maps again and again (and often making them even more bad) WG should bring NEW maps. Nobody wants the old shit maps reworked and reworked forever.

    1. As if new maps would be any better, what did maps like Berlin or the Japanese harbor improve?

The days of open maps like Swamp are gone forever.

        1. You want more but you don’t care about balance, sounds like a very happy WG customer.

    2. If the old maps are shit, they will still be shit reworked or not. And if they remove then and add a new map that’s even more shit. Is there a point?

  2. What am I interested in statistics on a card that is simply shit from every point of view? Berlin, Ensk, Airfield, Ghost Town etc. are just shit!!! No statistic in the world makes them better…

  3. West spawn has over 3% lower winrate than right spawn, “solid average”.

Does this mean one side having higher winrate than the other is the norm in WoT maps?
