In the Czołg P wz. 46 project, the classic single-drive suspension was abandoned in favor of a dual-drive system with power supplied to all track rollers. This design had numerous advantages but was more complex to implement.
The rollers could operate in different modes: individually in traction or free mode, as well as jointly. Thanks to their mirror symmetry, the direction of movement could be quickly reversed. The project was discontinued at the sketch stage.
