After months of research and fine-tuning of countless prototypes, testing of an amphibious modification of the M53/55 was launched this morning. Despite its impressive performance on land, the project’s inherent flaws became apparent almost immediately upon its contact with water. The failures are, quite frankly, too many to list within the confines of this brief report, but the conclusion is as follows: work on all amphibious SPG projects is hereby CANCELED with immediate effect.
