FV226 Contradictious (Great Britain, Tier-8, HT, premium, new mechanics: choice of firing mode) was released on September 19 for testing at the WoT supertest. The performance characteristics shown are current in the release version of the game 1.26.1.
The vehicle has a new mechanic: choosing a shooting mode.
— Compared to other double-barrel tanks, here a salvo shot is made only after changing the fire mode by pressing the X button.
After switching to the mode, if both guns are loaded, you can make a salvo. But several fire characteristics and the maximum forward speed are also reduced. You can also switch to the single-barrel shooting mode by pressing the X button. In this case, both guns are loaded regardless of the mode you are in. That is, when shooting single shells, the second shell is loaded in parallel and you can make a double-barrel salvo after changing the mode. During the mode change, there is a unique animation on the gun barrels.

Historical Reference:
A fairly balanced project with the traditional British emphasis on firepower and protection. The main feature of the vehicle was the armament system: the “20-pounder” and the new 105-mm L7 gun were considered. To ensure the required rate of fire, the gun was planned to be installed in an oscillating turret. Since the gun was on a fixed elevation, it was equipped with simple mechanical devices that facilitated the work of two loaders. Although the requirements could well have been achieved, the dimensions and weight of the tank were too large. The project was closed.
