Historical Reference:

In the late 1940s, Schneider, a company leading in artillery development, designed a family of self-propelled gun carriages featuring high-speed chassis and automated loading mechanisms. The Schneider 120 AC “Gendarme” project aimed to create a more mobile version of a powerful 120mm gun installation, as compared to the heavy tank destroyer by AMX Foch. There was also an alternative version that considered installing a 130mm naval gun. The tactical use of these vehicles was similar to the AMX-13: after firing two “drums” of rounds at the target, the vehicle would retreat to cover for reloading. The fate of the Schneider 120 AC “Gendarme” mirrored that of other French tank destroyers, as in the early 1950s, it was decided to arm upcoming heavy tanks with the same 120mm guns, rendering these specialized tank destroyers obsolete.

  1. My opinion kind of changes with Lesta..

Was going so great with all the tanks rebalancing, some maps reworks and then they never found the brake pedal…
tanks spitting fire, clearly way too op tier XI tanks, and absolute numb additions of a tanks like THIS..
