- For win rate analysis, players with fewer than 1,000 battles were excluded.
- Image 2 to 4: The NA and SEA servers show slightly more extreme player performance, where bad players tend to perform worse and good players tend to perform better compared to the EU server.
- For the battles played, players with fewer than 100 battles were excluded. For example, a player with exactly 100 battles is placed in the 0% bracket, even though many players have fewer than 100 battles.
- Figure 6 suggests there are more grinders on the EU server in terms of total battles played.

Wow so with 51.8% I’m in the top 5.5% of players.
These figures just prove the 85% of players are under 48% which is appalling lol
More like top 11-13%. And 50% is roughly top 25%. Which totally makes sense.
49% wins should be the average player. If we add 1% draws.
I was quite surprised as well. Was thinking I am just a bit above avg with 53,3 % WR, but looks like, this means almost creme de la creme.
and I still do not get, how to constantly be below 50% by a margin. how can one get 44% WR if not activly playing against the team?
My guess is, it depends of the year the player started the game. Playing WOT in 2024, with many other players having the best tanks and/or maxed crews, would have a severe impact on the winrate.
You mean, with all the boosters, events, gifted commanders, streamer and youtuber from who you can learn easely? Yeah ist a hard time for new players compared to our times where we have to play hundreds of games to grind only 1 T10 Tank or get decent crews.
With all due respect to the youngsters, I think you overstimate their attention span and dedication. It’s a whole new audience. 🙂

I’ve been playing for 10yrs and have a little over 30k battles. I’m at 51.8%, I thought was just ok. I’m more interested in my accuracy at 83.5%. This is also why I don’t just shot rounds off. Now that I know I’m in the top 25%, I will be more careful.
Its still funny that people determine a good player by win rate. Apparently all those people don’t know how WG calculates stats. First you cannot determine who is goin to actually know how to play their tanks correctly in a battle. Second Win rate is the lowest weighted stat when calculating WN8. If you are going to compare players the WTR is a much better way of doing that.
If I play 5 battles in a tier 8 medium and have a 20% win rate but do over 2k average damage per battle my WN8 is still over2.5k for that tank. That proves the way people bash others for their win rate is flawed.
