Historical Reference:
A Czech light reconnaissance tank, which was developed as a response to the West German Spähpanzer concept – a light reconnaissance scout tank. The work was carried out within the framework of the “Klus” project. There were no adequate analogues of such vehicles in the USSR and the Warsaw Pact countries. However, due to the cessation of work on the Spähpanzer in the FRG and the inconsistency with the weapons system of the Warsaw Pact countries, the project remained on paper.
