LPT-67 Šelma (Czechoslovakia, Tier-9, LT, techtree, mechanic: autocannons with unique firing mechanics)
Previously the tank was called: LPT-67
Historical Reference:
The Czechoslovakian LPT-67 Šelma tank is a variant of the German Spähpanzer concept. The hull layout repeated the Soviet PT-76B and BTR-50 vehicles, and the frontal armor was reinforced. A powerful diesel engine was supposed to be used to ensure the necessary mobility.
An original chassis with six single road wheels, three support rollers per side and telescopic energy-intensive hydraulic shock absorbers was also used, which made it possible to achieve high speeds. Firepower was provided by the installation of twin automatic cannons of 50 or 57 mm caliber. The project was abandoned for technical and economic reasons. The tank was not amphibious, could not withstand helicopters and attack aircraft, and its production was quite expensive
