WoT Supertest: SFAC 105

The SFAC 105, a French Tier VIII light armored TD featuring a double-barreled gun system. It has an experimental aiming device providing quick aiming time and enhancing accuracy and stabilization during salvo preparation.

However, preparing a salvo takes a considerable amount of time and reduces the tank’s maximum forward speed by 50%.

The SFAC 105 operates like a two-shell magazine, with a quick reload between shots.

The vehicle offers only basic bullet protection and is highly vulnerable to high-explosive shells. Despite its lack of armor, it has good mobility, with a top speed of 60 km/h and a reverse speed of 20 km/h.

  1. Seems way too strong, like it would be my favorite tank easily, will it be balanced with longer salvo preparation time maybe? This looks like a BLAST.

    1. It isn’t totally made up, it’s just a total hodgepodge of elements from a real French anti-aircraft prototype. The hull is a fabrication, it was meant to be mounted on a large trailer towed behind a truck. The 105mm variant was a single gun fed by two large drum magazines. The 90mm was a twin-gun mount with a similar feed system to the one depicted, but it would’ve still been automatic, with a fairly high rate of fire. WG just took the basic concept and did what they wanted with it. A twin gun autiloadwr would’ve been complicated to implement, so they just ignore the autoloader, and obviously a truck with a trailer doesn’t fit in the game, so they fabricated a tank hull for it.

    1. The ISU-122-2 is one of the most misused tank of the game. I’m not an excellent player with my 52% WR and 1630WN8. Tomato.GG says tha tank isn’t that great either with it’s 52.28% WR but somehow I found it’s meta achieving slightly above 59% WR with it out of 210 battles.

      1. Yeah, thats why im so excited for this tank, the SU-122-2 is a blast. One of my favorite tanks. It can double shot snipe easily, brawl, peekaboom without being punished. It does it all.

    1. If I read that correctly that’s the normal accuracy. The enhacement happens only during the long preparation time of the salvo.
