These Alliance hounds aren’t learning from experience. They took quite a beating from yours truly the last time, and they’re still preparing for a rematch. What are they hoping for? They must be completely incapable of basic logical thinking. I mean, what are the chances for a different outcome? One side of this equation (an inequation, to be precise) is a dull, rigid, bureaucratic structure under the mask of a secret international cabal. The other is a blooming and ambitious scientist and engineer with a proven record of dealing with trespassers who want to appropriate her (and her father’s) creations and to stifle the free pursuit of knowledge.

WoWS: NEW SHIPS – CLOSED TEST 12.9

In Update 12.9 we are going to introduce the following ships: Italian cruiser Francesco Ferruccio, German battleship Scharnhorst ’43, European destroyer Stord ’43 and American Aircraft carriers Yorktown and Essex.

American aircraft carrier Essex has returned to the game for testing, accompanied by Yorktown. These ships will be added to the Tech Tree in the future. Independence, a Tier VI aircraft carrier, will also enter testing in one of the upcoming updates. Details about her will be available later.

WoT Supertest: Pz.Kpfw. IV Ausf. F2 Comparison to Other Tier 5 Tanks

Meanwhile, the Tier-5 Pz. IV F2 features the following changes from its closest premium analogue, the Tier-5 Pz. IV H Ankou (which itself is just the Tier-5 Pz. IV H with the top 75 mm gun), excluding (of course) its model:

  • Slower turret traverse (36.5 deg/s vs 45.89 deg/s)
  • Increased hitpoints (720 vs 630)
  • Reduced frontal hull armor (50/30/20 mm vs 80/30/20 mm)*
  • Slightly less weight/load capacity (23.6/27 t vs 25/28 t)
  • Less engine power (300 hp vs 440 hp)
  • Significantly lower specific power (12.71 hp/t vs 17.6 hp/t)
  • Lower reverse speed (-15 kph vs -18 kph)
  • Faster hull traverse (39.63 deg/s vs 33.38 deg/s)
  • Worse stationary concealment (14.71/3.63 vs 17.93/4.43)**
  • Worse moving concealment (11.06/2.73 vs 14.17/3.5)**
  • Higher view range (360 m vs 350 m)

WoT Supertest: M24 Chaffee No. 594 Comparison to Chaffee

In summary, the Tier-5 M24 No. 594 features the following changes from the standard Tier-5 Chaffee (other than its model/premium status):

  • Faster aiming time (1.44 s vs 1.53 s)
  • Better accuracy (0.36 vs 0.42)
  • Slightly more weight/load capacity (19/20 t vs 18.39/19.5 t)
  • Significantly less engine power (296 hp vs 500 hp)
  • Significantly lower specific power (15.58 hp/t vs 27.19)
  • Lower top speeds (56/20 kph vs 62/21 kph)
  • Higher traverse speed (52.15 deg/s vs 43.81 deg/s)
  • Better concealment after firing (4.08 vs 3.87)
  • Slightly lower radio signal range (730 m vs 760 m)
