Main Changes

Random Events

Random Event mechanics have been released after tests in the Recon Mission 2023 mode.

  • Random Events are available on the following maps: Prokhorovka, Himmelsdorf, Safe Haven, and Ruinberg.
  • The visual component of Random Events has been significantly improved.
  • Signals and notifications have been improved.
    • The area of an upcoming Random Event will now be marked with red smoke that will appear 20 seconds before the event starts.
    • The area of a Random Event will be marked on the minimap.
    • When entering a Random Event area that is dangerous for vehicles, a special marker will be displayed on the screen.

  • Random Events occur with a certain probability.
  • Balance changes have been made to the locations of cover that appears after Random Events.
  • An option to disable Random Events has been added to the game settings: “Maps in Development”. By default, Random Events are enabled for all players.

Map Changes

The terrain and certain objects on Safe Haven, Himmelsdorf, and Ruinberg have been adjusted, in particular to prevent driving and getting stuck in areas not intended for playing.

Known Issues

  • The Binocular Telescope and Camouflage Net equipment remains active when a vehicle overturns, flips back, and keeps moving.
  • When Commander Camera is enabled, the standard outline of the player’s vehicle may function incorrectly.
  • When the crew is stunned, the Small First Aid Kit can be used on an uninjured crew member.
  • In some cases, the pop-up window does not appear when the cursor is hovered over the vehicle module icon on the damage panel.
  • In some cases, the sequence of events in the damage log may be distorted.
  • In some cases, falling trees fall through the terrain.
  • Upon successful completion of the Alliance-14 mission in the Chimera operation, the failed mission icon is displayed after the battle.
  • The Battle Results screen is missing an entry for completion of the last mission in a series.
  • There is no voice notification when an enemy vehicle is destroyed.
  • When switching to Sniper mode on high graphics settings and zooming in on foliage, the FPS (frames per second) rate may decrease.
  • The ammo rack detonation icon is repeatedly displayed above vehicles destroyed beyond the draw circle when these vehicles enter the player’s draw circle radius.
  • During replays, vehicles do not make engine or track sounds.
  • When an SPG’s Artillery Aim is hovered over an enemy vehicle located beyond the player’s draw circle, and the vehicle is then destroyed, the animation of its ammo rack detonation is displayed.
  • When antialiasing is enabled with standard graphics, the silhouette of the player’s vehicle turns green in some cases.
  • On some Frontline mode maps, it is possible to drive inside structures at their bases.
  • The text “Sell” is displayed on the button when hovering over the card of a vehicle that is available for recovery in the Vehicles in the Garage section of the Depot tab.

Fixed Issues and Improvements

  • The Tactical Training clan Reserve now also provides a bonus to Crew XP.
  • Fixed the issue of player and clan statistics not being updated on the clan autosearch screen.
  • Fixed the issue of the clan autosearch screen being displayed incorrectly when errors occurred.
  • Fixed the issue of the time format being displayed incorrectly in some languages on the Stronghold schedule window.
  • Fixed the issue of detachments not being displayed in the Detachment List window of the Stronghold section in some cases.
  • Fixed the issue of the Soviet vehicles purchase window not being displayed in some cases upon single-clicking the corresponding button in the Tech Tree.
  • Fixed the issue of Personal Reserve icons being duplicated in the Conversion Details window on 4K screens.
  • Fixed the issue of the Return Crew to Vehicle button being active when the entire crew is dismissed.
  • Fixed the descriptions for the Camouflage Net and Binocular Telescope equipment. Information about vehicles with hydropneumatic suspension has been added.
  • Fixed the issue of Cruise Control not being disabled upon pressing the W/S keys when holding Ctrl.
  • Fixed the issue of multiple “Failed to resupply ammo” messages being displayed when the game currencies were not available (dashes) in the Garage.
  • Fixed the issue of the view range value being rounded down when the Experimental Optics equipment is mounted.
  • The images of the FV601 Saladin and GSOR 1006 Scheme 7 in the vehicle panel have been corrected.
  • Fixed the issue of sparks being displayed behind wheels on some British wheeled tanks when they moved.

  2. I thought this new update seemed rushed, and now two hours after the Servers were supposed to go Live it seems to be the case.

    Granted we’re receiving 24 hours of Premium compensation, where applicable, but next time they should add a couple of hours to their Official restart time, just incase.
