If you’re new to the party, here’s what you need to know: Simply watch your favorite livestreams on the official World of Tanks channels or with your favorite streamers to collect Twitch Drops tokens, and then unlock extra special missions for even more tokens! Just make sure to spend your tokens and choose your rewards before both the tokens and the items in the Twitch Drops Store reset on January 9 at 07:00 CET (UTC+1).

Twitch Drops Store: Choose Your Rewards
Spend your Twitch Drops tokens 
in the special in-game Twitch Drops Store to pick up festive crew members, styles, Premium food and consumables packs, XP missions, and days of WoT Premium Account. To enter the TWITCH DROPS STORE, simply enter the DEPOT from your Garage and open HOMEFRONT SUPPLIES.
You can only visit the Twitch Drops Store if you have at least one token on your account. Once you run out of tokens, the Store will disappear again until a new token has been earned.
When the Twitch Drops Store resets on January 9 at 07:00 CET (UTC+1), you will lose your Twitch Drops tokens, so be sure to spend them before then!

Why do you think they had a calendar? So you would spend your gold before the caravans and black markets in Feburary so you would have to buy more.
That said, advent calendar was full of tier 8 tech tree prems and tanks they had sold 99 times that year. I’ve not bought anything the past 2 years as they had nothing interesting… or new.
In fact, no one does that anymore at all (buying lootboxes)! 18 pages on the forum thread regarding boxes, and 50% of the posts are complaints about the event. 2 years ago 6 days in, there were 100+ pages. 🤡 The game is dead and only very, very few people buy lootboxes from WG, that’s really making me happy. 😊
