It doesn’t help either that they said they couldn’t find vehicles for tier 7 and 8 so they just put the AMX 30 line in game with a huge gap between the G1 R and AMX 30.
Even when people came forward and offered proposals WG turned them down, and now those tanks are premiums.
All thats left is to have the AMX 45t splinter off the the AMX M4 45. Then have the Restany tank and Char Futur 1 or 2 as the tier 9 and 10 tanks respectively.
Thats the only hope left for a “proper” medium tank line now.

At tier 6, a quick search on the ”advanced” G1R, and we have the perfect tier 6, with the long 75mm gun in the ARL 42 turret. It would be a perfect follow up after the tier 5 G1R.
At tier 7, I would use the G1R hull again, with a new turret, and a 90 mm gun. It would be a hard hitter, like many mediums at this tier.
At tier 8, the ”AMX M4 46” would be perfect. In 1946, the AMX M4 developement went toward a medium like performance.

Later, the project went back to the ”heavy” idea.
This AMX M4 46 would be like a AMX M4 45, but with a Panther suspension, and a much better agility. Imho, the same turrets and gun as the tier 7 heavy would be perfect.
At tier 9 : AMX 30 1er prot. (already in the game)
Tier 10 : AMX 30b (already in the game)
There would be G1R hull on 3 tiers, but I don’t think it’s a problem. If you look at the T-34 and Sherman hulls, they span from tier 4, to tier 7 and 8 respectively. That a 4 tier span for the T-34, and 5 for the Sherman hull.
