The patch notes for 9.15 say this:
Performed a switch to CoreEngine 3.0:
Implemented a number of technical solutions that allowed for an increase in performance of up to 30% including:
Average FPS has significantly increased for the “Improved Graphics” preset.
Average FPS has slightly increased (up to 15%) for the “Standard Graphics” preset.
I used a WoT 9.14 replay that plays properly on both WoT 9.14 and the WoT 9.15 test server client. I used Fraps to measure the minimum, average, and maximum FPS in the replay. The minimum and average FPS were the same when the graphics settings were the same in both version 9.14 and 9.15. The actual frame rates differed by less than 1 FPS. I ran each replay three times on WoT 91.4 and WoT 9.15 and got the same results. I tried it on both my desktop and laptop and in both 9.14 and 9.15 I got the same average and minimum FPS with 9.14 and 9.15. The maximum FPS was actually higher with WoT 9.14
Where is the game performance increase in WoT 9.15? Its nowhere near up to 30%. It wasn’t even 3%. What does Wargaming mean by, “Average FPS has significantly increased for the “Improved Graphics” preset.” if both 9.14 and 9.15 have the same FPS with the same replay?
