According to WOT Express, it looks like the upcoming 1.27.1 update will include buffs for the Japanese Type 71, American M-V-Y, and the rest of the tanks to the top-tier vehicles.

“And this branch of tanks headed by tier 10 is already in the next update! This BUFF has been expected for a long time. On the TOP, you can just choose the New Year’s discount. But whether it will become meta – time will tell.

The total for the next patch is already known: 1 nerf(60TP) and 2 Buffs(Type 71, M-V-Y) .”

This upgradeable tier 10 tank will be NERFED in the next update! Don’t even think about buying it using the New Year’s discount now. It’s finished.

Of course, their wording is likely exaggerating the scope of the nerfs somewhat (as WOT Express tends to do), but the underlying point still stands — the vehicle will seemingly be nerfed as part of the forthcoming balance changes in Update 1.27.1.
