WoWS: Changes to Test Ships – Closed Test 12.4
Based on testing results, we’re applying changes to Asturias, Cataluña, Andalucía, Castilla, Schill, Novosibirsk, Halford, West Virginia ’44, Devastation, Jäger, Muavenet, Stord, Grom, Split, S-1, L-20, and K-1, as well as to the unique upgrades for Petropavlovsk and Manfred von Richthofen.
For readability, similar changes across different ships have been moved under the spoiler.
We’ve removed the bonuses to AP shell penetration and damage when using Burst Fire on Spanish cruisers, as well as reduced its reload time. Thanks to this, players will be able to deal damage more evenly throughout the battle.

WoWS: Visual improvements – Closed Test
Soon we’ll conduct a closed test of planned visual changes for the maps Polar, New Dawn, and Islands; changes to hit effects, shell tracers, and water display; and the addition of some fauna on our maps.
HD textures
The Polar, New Dawn, and Islands maps will be reworked to achieve HD quality. Object textures are now more detailed, and different weather options are more distinctive.
WoWS: New ships – Closed Test 12.5
Spanish cruiser Numancia and Italian battleship Ruggiero di Lauria have been added to the game for testing.
Spanish cruiser Numancia, Tier VIII
One of the “Washington cruiser” designs proposed to the Spanish Navy by Vickers-Armstrongs was based on the hull of the Emerald-class ships, but with seven 203-mm guns in one triple- and two twin-gun turrets. In order to keep the power plant compact, a linear arrangement of the boiler rooms and engine rooms was adopted. The ship was supposed to be faster than the original, and the installation of an aircraft catapult was also implied. However, preference was given to the version of the project that became the basis for the Canarias class.

Asymmetric Battle
The Asymmetric Battle battle type will return in Update 12.5. This time, a team of 6 players using Tier IX-X ships will fight against 12 Tier VII and VIII bots. Battles will take place in the “Standard Battle” and “Domination” modes.
