MBT-59 [🇺🇸 USA, MT-10]
Historical Reference:
In the late 1950s, the United States launched a program to develop a main battle tank (MBT) capable of operating in areas contaminated by radioactive fallout. A key feature of the project was housing the crew inside an isolated armored capsule with strong protection against penetrating radiation.
In Random Battles, a new sound physics system based on map geometry has been added. It changes how vehicles sound depending on their position relative to objects on the map.
Types of modeling:
• Transmission — simulates how nearby gunfire sounds are blocked by obstacles (such as walls, ceilings, or mountains).
• Diffraction — simulates how engine and track sounds bend around building corners and large objects.
• Reflection — simulates early reflections of your vehicle’s sounds from nearby surfaces.
