WoT: EU Server Status Update

The EU game server is now partially back online. We are, closely monitoring server performance to ensure stability. We’re also aware of the following ongoing issues:

  • Some players receive an error: “A player with the same name is already in the game.”,
  • Some players have reported loss of progress from just before the server outage.,

Our teams are actively investigating these problems. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your continued patience as we work to fully resolve the situation.

WoT: EU Server & Portal Issues

We’re currently experiencing issues on the EU game servers as well as the EU Portal. Our teams are actively investigating the situation.

In the meantime, you may encounter problems connecting to the game or accessing the website. We’ll keep you updated as soon as we have more information.

WoT RU: New Projectile Type – Unguided Rocket Projectile

Features: accelerates after firing; the damage dealt depends on the distance traveled.

On the battlefield, you may encounter vehicles with unfamiliar names that fire unusual projectiles.

Everything is legitimate — the Object 757A and OTAC MT-58 tanks are operated by Supertesters and developers who are testing the new mechanic.

WoT RU: Battle Matchmaker Changes in Update 1.38

As previously announced (source), several matchmaker mechanics are being updated:

Almost all battles will now be single-tier or follow the “±1 tier” rule. Only about 5% of battles will be “±2 tier.”

New limitations for Random Battles team composition:
• No more than 2 SPGs
• No more than 5 TDs, with a maximum of 4 sniper/support TDs
• No more than 2 LTs (for Tier VII–XI battles)
Grand Battles: no more than 4 SPGs, 4 LTs, and 10 TDs (with up to 7 sniper/support TDs)
