This tank, known also as Landsverk anti-II or L-62 or locally ItPsv 41, was an AA SPG based on the Stridsvagn L-60/Toldi chassis, developed by Sweden and used by Finland. Scarce information is known about it and I will try to tell you everything I found on the web about it. The tank was used in Hungary too –  as the Nimrod (license built). More is known on the Nimrod (FTR). So I will assume that this tank is a downgraded Nimrod with 1 less crewmember. Also it is 1 ton lighter, with a 50 cm lower turret than the Hungarian variant and with an engine that has 115 hp (5 more than the Nimrod), so it makes up with more camo and mobility.

The 6 Anti-II AA SPGs used by Finland downed 11 Soviet aircraft in the summer of 1944, with no kills in the AA ranks. The tanks were in Finnish service until 1966. Now they are featured in various museums.

The L-62 chassis was more effective than the L-60 one: it had 5 small roadwheels instead of 4 large ones.

There’s a relatively new Wargaming product in closed beta, called World of Tanks Generals. Like its base game, it focuses mainly on tank combat, but instead of 3D armored vehicles, you get to play with cards. Yes, at first it may sound boring to some of you, but it surely gets better as you get into it.

So, how do you play it? Well, you don’t have a team to depend on. You’re the one and only, versus another player, or a bot – depending on your choice. The battlefield is now a board, on which there’s two headquarters (or training camps) by default. The interesting fact is that base cards can deal damage to the adversary base (not enough to kill it though). So yeah, you can derp someone in the face even from the first round.

Here’s some WoT related news, again – motion physics only.

-players can now download the second patch of the motion physics common test from the RU portal

-new common test patch is limited to 5 tanks (T1 Cunningham, T-54, T-62A, AMX 13 90 and AMX 50 100) and 10 maps (Westfield, Pearl River, Malinovka, Prokhorovka, Abbey, Himmelsdorf, Mines, Cliff, El Halluf and Ensk.)

-tanks will now be able to jump over ditches and holes without being stopped by ‘The Force’

Hello, everyone! My name is Sebastian. Since that is a little bit long, you can call me Seb. I have decided to continue the historical work of now-absent Silentstalker. I may not be as professional as him, and I don’t have any Russian knowledge. But I have one thing – a huge interest in tanks, and I plan to use it to the maximum. This interest made me want to tell you about tanks SS told nothing about. Real projects or blueprints ignored by SS himself, even when I messaged them to him.

tl;dr: My purpose here is to continue what SS started, in a better way.

If you’re actively playing World of Tanks you should know that patch 9.7 is about to hit the common test servers .Although the exact date is currently unknown – there was a leak on the RU forums saying it will be this week. Who knows? Time will tell.

The official RU WoT YouTube channel posted a video regarding ‘toxic behavior’ of some players and how they will be sanctioned.

– they label violations in 3 categories: game chat violations, unsportsmanlike conduct (attacking or pushing allies) and forbidden player and clan names (racism, group hatred and so on)

– they talk about their automatic system that punishes team killers and AFKers
