If you are familiar with the American medium tanks, especially T20 and M26 Pershing, then you will feel like at home in the T23E3. As with almost every vehicle in this line, the tank is a jack-of-all-trades but a master-of-none. In other words, it performs well in any given situation but it’s not the best at anything.

The armour of the tank is quite thin, however, it’s pretty well-angled. It might pull off occasional bounces but, as in other American medium tanks, don’t rely on it too much.

A real strength of the tank is its excellent gun depression. Therefore, you should use it to your advantage. Try to place yourself on sloping terrain and ridgelines to make the most out of it. This will also be beneficial for your survival ratio – the less of the armour you show, the less is a chance of being hit and, eventually, destroyed.
