NERF to Ho-Ri 3 – Changes for the branch from Tier 5 to Tier 10
Ho-Ri 3 (Japan, Tier-10, TD, Researchable). Changes relative to the 1.28 Live Server.

Firepower:
• Accuracy at 100 m: 0.33 → 0.35

Survivability:
• Suspension durability (after repair): 250 (190) → 250 (188)
• Suspension repair time: 12.03 → 11.79 sec
• Engine durability (after repair): 360 (170) → 345 (173)

Mobility:
• Maximum reverse speed: 18 → 15 km/h

Observation:
• View range: 400 → 380 m

General:
• Module repair cost: 7,870 → 8,705 credits


IMPORTANT: These are preliminary changes, and the stats may still change before and during the Public Test of WoT 1.28.1. Please take note.

  1. I hope they nerf Chi-To SP together with Ho-Ri 3 – it’s extremely overpowered in tier 7 when driven by a knowledgeble player; it’s reasonably strong, when driven by a complete noob

    1. Well how would you balance them. Their armour profile is just impossible to balance, no? Either they have so much armour that nothing can go through them. Or they are like now where gold melts them. Even if you give them crazy frontal armour with the drivers port being weak or something, it will still result in them having no armour since you can’t really hide those things on the front.

        1. I know, but thats kind of an issue for what are supposed to be “super heavily armoured” tanks. Yet because the armour is completely flat the only way to have it not be weak os to give it ridiculous thickness. But if you do that then they’re completely invulnerable for no effort.

        1. As a person who prefers E100 over Maus, I have to say E100 needed buffs on the side turret, not front. Now it’s just a forntal hull down heavy

    taking away accuracy from the td which only has its gun as a selling point is fucking crazy.
    nerf the fucking dbvs instead, clueless fucking clowns

  3. This is why i stopped grinding tech lines there is no point.. Shop tanks or prems are immune to nerfs so.. Why bother

  4. HO-RI being nerfed? Are you kidding me? Why? That tank was perfectly okay, decent to great in good players hands and its perfectly counterable even for noobs. Its rare sight in randoms, nerf modules whatever, but why touch accuracy?

    1. Nevermind, I see the CS-63, HORI, CANOPENER, WZ111FGT, Manticore, Minotauro are all having the good win ratios best listed first. Hori IS number 1 right now it seems.

      1. We have 35 tanks with under a 49% ratio, why are we cherry picking the 51% WR tanks like the HORI? focus on buffing the 44% WR tanks. Lmfao. God forbid reward tanks have something to fight but themselves.

        1. WG wants reward tryhards to be the top players, this way they can keep marketing those broken reward tanks and keep game modes like clanwar alive.

          And buffing everything isn’t the solution. Nerfing what is overperforming is. Ho-Ri 3 is what, the best Tier 10 tank destroyer and one of the best Tier 10 tanks? People cry about it the same way people cried about Super Conqueror and AMX M4 54, two other Tier 10 tanks that were OP for some time (it took WG years to nerf SC lol).

            1. WG doesn’t care about that, as far as they are concerned weak tanks are just another balancing factor and one more element of randomness. The “ideal” team composition doesn’t exist in random battles.

    A fcking big & crazy reliable gun on a mobile platform that also has decent armor.
    Sure the thing don’t have turret but it has very good traverse speed instead.

    Tell me another tier 10 non-turreted TD has this combination?

    1. 100% agree with you! Everything from Chi-To SP onwards feels super flexible and with reasonable (not insane) armour. And everythin apart from the tier 8 has a very nice gun too. The Ho-Ri line definitely deserves some cut of the balls

      Nothing so elaborate. Some players just want OP tanks to stay OP to keep winning ez with them but are too cowardly to admit it and hide their true aims behind claims like “this tank is balanced and should not be nerfed” when facts say otherwise.

    3. This is why I do not like broken/op or just too strong tanks – it’s not giving a proper challenge and at some point it will b nerfed to a way or another. Playing good with a decent tank vs playing with an average or a situational/bad tank.. The latter one is way better for me at least. I’m not speaking about 3GM-s, because the average/bad tanks has less requirements, but beating a BZ-176 with a VK75.01K / CDC / Mauer / IS-6 while doing nice avg dmg overall in the battle.. Now thats a great feeling. (Not to mention when a bad tank receives a nice buff – like the Raumpanzer – that’s always a bonus for the likes of me 😀 )

      1. Just proves WG don’t have a fucking clue. Buffing then Nerfing then Buffing and they get paid to do this. This is their only job and still can’t get it right 🤣🤣🤣🤣

  6. Even frontally you have plenty of weakspots. Which other TDs are, for you, hard to play against frontally??? 😀 It is TD, do not engage frontally, use your tank’s advantages to counter it…..
