A land of rugged beauty, where mist drapes over coniferous forests and granite cliffs reflect the cold northern sky. This is the atmosphere we aimed to capture in the new lighting update for the Karelia map. The familiar landscapes of Karelia will now appear in a different light—literally. Instead of the warm hues of sunset, the map will feature a cool, daytime lighting scheme dominated by white tones. The vibrant greens of the coniferous forests will become even more striking, while the rocky terrain will take on a naturally austere appearance.
Lighting will be chosen randomly and will be the same for all players in a battle.
This lighting update introduces a new weather state, inspired by the real landscapes of Karelia. A light misty haze and cold glow will enhance the sense of mystery, creating a different yet equally captivating vision of this familiar battlefield.
