WoT: 4th Mark of Excellence

For a long time, players have been discussing the possibility of a 4th Mark of Excellence on gun barrels in WoT. For example, the streamer the_barbarian has been preparing for this for a while, achieving 100% marks on many tanks. Perhaps this effort was not in vain, and we hope that something similar to a 4th mark will eventually be introduced by the developers.

Moreover, this kind of mark has already existed for six years in World of Tanks Modern Armor (Console). There, it is implemented in such a way that players must rank among the top 99.99% to earn it. As a result, the standard three marks turn gold.
Is it too difficult to reach the top 0.01%? Absolutely!

A new mark on the gun wouldn’t be a particularly complex feature to implement, especially since the mechanics have already been tested on consoles. However, in addition to the golden marks, unique rewards should also be added for players—such as an exclusive 2D style, as this achievement is extremely challenging and requires dedication.

  1. As someone who knows how hard it is to get just three marks with almost all the vehicles with how volatile games can be, a 4th mark is absolutely bonkers and shows true grit, no matter the tank. You know you will have a god alongside you if you see one in battle if it is anywhere near 99%.

      1. They can be toxic and curse at the team but that doesnt mean they arent better then everyone else. In any case, they did something that only a very very small amount of the playerbase can hope to achieve over the course of weeks or months. You also have to get lucky your team isnt too good, if your team has any kind of advantage your damage becomes super hard to rack up without sacrificing your entire vehicle. Sometimes you simply cant get enough damage for mark progress so you have to get lucky for the mark on top of being perfect within 50 battles. A ton of tier 10s are already at 5.6k average over 50 battles for just 95%, imagine 99 or 99.99% average. This will also spur people to do better in competition for the 4th mark.
