After the official announcement and launch of the beta test of “Project R3” (Steel Hunters), which took 3.5 years to complete, let’s talk a little bit about something other than WoT.
In addition to all those games that you have already seen in mentions, Wargaming is currently developing 2 more games. There have been no tests on them outside the company yet – these are two unnamed projects Project 1 and Project 2 (named here for consistency, the internal names are different, but also code names). You will not see these games in the release in the next 2 years for sure (!), but there will definitely be tests on them.
One of the games correlates with tanks (let’s be honest, Steel Hunters are the same tanks, yes, yes), the other one is kind of strange, judging by how it was described to us. Project 1 is now quite far along in development (pre-alpha), but the second game is lagging behind.

- 2023 — Alpha Test of Project CW (Cold War) | Modern WOT
- 2025 – Project 1 alpha test
- 2026 – Project 2 alpha test
