Historical Reference
During experiments on a sapper vehicle similar to the American T31 project, a specially designed turret with two Lance-brouillard Mle. 45 rocket launchers for the 150 mm fusée Mle. 45 was mounted on the Bat.-Châtillon 155 chassis. Both were copies of German designs. There were also plans to equip the vehicle with a dozer blade, similar to the T31 model. Work on it was halted at the prototype stage as the project did not fit into the new concept of highly maneuverable warfare.
Sturmgeschütz E 100

According to the designers’ plan, the heavy 50-mm rotary gun was supposed to clear the area under attack, sweeping away enemy infantry and destroying their positions from machine-gun nests to pillboxes. The project was not built due to the discontinuation of work on the rotary gun.
Panhard EBR 40 ter

An “economical” project armed with the 40 mm Mle51 T1 gun. It was expected to be better suited for jungle combat, where a long- barreled gun would be impractical, as well as in places where the main opposing force were irregular army units acting from ambushes with no armored vehicles. It existed only in blueprints.

A vehicle projected for escorting attacking tank units. Its developers envisioned that it would hit lightly armored vehicles and enemy manpower while also providing protection against RPG and ATGM fire. The project existed only in blueprints.

Historical Reference
Project of an anti-aircraft vehicle based on the Maus superheavy tank. Different variants of gun systems on the superheavy chassis, including dual 88-mm guns, were considered for adoption. The vehicle was never produced.
M5YE2 Thunderclap

An experimental piece with a 75 mm ARES XM274 gun. The project
was canceled because of the poor positioning of the gun in the standard turret, which was hard to maintain.
