Patch Notes #2 for Alpha 2

  • Added status resistance effect to repair kits.
  • Matchmaker: New configurations implemented.
  • Bug Fixes:
    • Tooltip now correctly displays the method for earning credits.
    • Mastering per level now displays correctly from level 16 onward.

Update: Due to issues on PS and Xbox, maintenance for consoles has been extended. ETA not announced.

– Hounds Become the Hunted

Hound • Leopard 1A6A1 Adjustments

The main concerns the development team has with the Leopard 1A6 are its mobility and ability to fire accurately on the move for lethal damage. We still want the Leopard 1A6 to be a scary foe for our lighter vehicles. During the initial Alpha 2 stage, far too many of our vehicles were at risk of being killed with an ammo rack hit.

The vehicle has undergone several changes to its mobility. Acceleration in higher gears has been reduced, as has the hull traverse speed.

The base gun accuracy normalization rate has been significantly decreased. Players will now need to wait for around 2 seconds after moving to achieve maximum accuracy. Maximum aiming reticle bloom has been increased to further reduce accuracy on the move. The probability of projectiles landing in the periphery of the reticle has also been increased to emphasize this characteristic.

Basic projectile damage and progression modules that allowed for undesirable stacking behavior have been reworked to reduce the maximum potential damage per shot.

We hear your feedback and will be monitoring emerging player behaviors following these changes, making further adjustments as necessary.

Firepower

Default Gun

  • Reticle size (stationary): Increased from 0.3 to 0.45
  • Reticle size (moving): Increased from 7.0 to 8.6
  • Aiming time: Increased from 1.75 sec to 2.35 sec

Default Projectile

  • Damage: Reduced from 1050 to 960
  • Damage falloff start distance: Reduced from 160 m to 150 m
  • Minimum projectile damage: Reduced from 600 to 500
  • Damage variation: Reduced from 15% to 5%
  • Penetration falloff start distance: Reduced from 160 m to 150 m
  • Penetration: Reduced from 450 mm to 420 mm
  • Velocity: Reduced from 1600 m/s to 1050 m/s
  • Acceleration: Set to -50 m/s²

Additional Adjustments

  • Basic cone length: Reduced from 4 m to 2 m
  • Internal modules affected per shot: Reduced from 2 to 1
  • Cone length multiplier: Removed while Hound’s Hunter’s Mark (R) is active

Survivability

  • Hit points: Reduced from 2100 to 2000

Mobility

  • Turret traverse speed: Reduced from 45 deg/s to 36.5 deg/s
  • Hull traverse speed: Reduced from 0.8 deg/s to 0.72 deg/s
  • Forward velocity: Decreased from 20 m/s to 18.889 m/s
  • Reverse velocity: Increased from 8.0 m/s to 8.334 m/s
  • Braking force: Increased from 10 to 12

Additional Change:

  • Engine gears now provide increased power at low speeds but reduced power at high speeds.

Upgrades / Modules

  • Trapping Shot ability progression modules now have uniform channeling time

Jagdkreuzer

  • Engine critical multiplier: Increased from 4% to 8%

Staklbringer

  • Ammo bay critical multiplier: Decreased from 7% to 4%

Eisenblitz

  • Fuel tank critical multiplier: Increased from 4% to 14%

Kreuzfeur (Vehicle Level 14)

  • Reload time reduction: Decreased from 25% to 15%
  • Damage modifier: Increased from -12% to -10%
  • Penetration power modifier: Increased from -7% to -10%

Wolfsbiss (Vehicle Level 19)

  • Aiming time modifier: Removed
  • Critical multiplier bonuses: Removed
  • Reticle size (stationary) modifier: Increased from -3% to -10%
  • Reload time penalty: Reduced from +90% to +50%
  • Added: Damage cone angle increase of +6°

Rote Faust (Vehicle Level 27)

  • Increased last shot damage: Removed
  • Reticle size (moving) modifier: Removed
  • Shell reload time: Increased from 2.5 sec to 5 sec
  • Projectile damage penalty: Reduced from -30% to -15%

Wolkenbombe (Vehicle Level 40)

  • Trapping Shot (T) critical multiplier bonus: Rescaled from 35% to 15%

QoL Changes

  • Increased armor outline (penetration indicator) visual range from 300 m to 400 m

XM1 90 – Balance Improvements & Bug Fixes

  • Smoke projectiles: Now increase restock speed of both magazines by 25%
  • Smoke volume: Increased by 30%
  • HEAT projectiles:
    • Reload and restock time increased by 10% (was 0%)
    • Energy cost increased to 50% (was 0%)
    • Turret traverse speed: Reduced by 7.5% when using HEAT
  • ATGM:
    • Reload time increased to 3× longer
    • Restock time increased by 50%
  • Self-Sealing Fuel Tanks (Toughness module): Modifier reduced from 15% to 12.5%
  • Robotic Autoloading (Firepower module): Reload penalty reduced to 7.5% (was 10%)
  • Stack limit on reload rate buff: Reduced from 6 to 5
  • Temporary stack duration: Adjusted to 8 sec to match the description
  • Fixed: 3 incorrect module images in the specification sheet
  • Hit points: Reduced from 3000 to 2800

  • Rotatable Store: Updated to an improved version
  • Hound Missions: Reduced difficulty for missions requiring Hound participation
  • New Status Effect: Slowed has been added
  • Ability VFX: Enhanced visual effects
  • Localization Updates: Various improvements

  • Vehicle Repaints: Applied to Leo 2FK, M60E2, XM1V, Leo 1A1, Leo 2KT14

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed: Graphical artifacts on enemies’ armor penetration outline on PS5
  • Fixed: Graphic settings resetting after restart
  • Fixed: Issue preventing players from joining battles in a Squad

Duration Adjustments

  • Dazed effect: Duration reduced from 8 sec to 4 sec
  • Jammed effect: Duration reduced from 8 sec to 4 sec
  • Slowed effect: Duration reduced from 8 sec to 6 sec

Slowed Effect Improvements

  • Maximum velocity: Increased from 40% to 60%
  • Vehicle engine force: Increased from 50% to 65%

Bug Fixes

  • Reduced the probability of receiving multiple negative status effects from enemy hits
  • Added missing BACK button to several UI screens
