AMX Tracteur D (French, Tier-8, HT, premium)
Historical Reference:
After the end of World War I, the French command considered the concept of a heavy tank designed to reinforce the Maginot Line. In May 1936, the design task was assigned to the AMX, ARL and FCM firms. AMX developed a project for a super-heavy breakthrough tank, the Tracteur C, based on the experience of combat in World War I. The Tracteur D project was a further development of the Tracteur C project. The new tank included shell-proof armor, an auxiliary turret at the rear (like the AMX Tracteur C), and a new main turret. Since there were problems with the ASTER engines, the project was reworked for the Hispano-Suiza aircraft engine. By the time the AMX Tracteur D project appeared in 1940, the French no longer had time for breakthrough tanks, so the project remained only as a sketch.

this is one of the very very special tank designs, similar in scale to the japanese o-i. A tog on tier 8. i would love to get this in WoT too… although, maybe they should implement that second turret mechanic first 😀

French dual turret super heavies will come to WoT within this year. With the Char 2c being in the files as a super heavy tier III and this being tier VIII, I wouldn’t bee surprised if they come around the big update at the end of the year. I mean think about it. We’ve already seen the dual turret mechanic back in 2017 Halloween event and never since and now all of a sudden they are bring back the Char 2c after originally showing it in the French tech tree update taser along with many other tanks that had old icons but were never in the game? (A7E3, AMX 13 FL11, M3A3, AMR.P103, Etc.) Just wait. People have been talking about this forever and its coming soon.
