WOT Express: Effects of Some 3D Attachments

Detailed display of two dynamic elements of 3D Attachments.

• Flamethrower guitar (legendary) – flame (flamethrower jet) when killing an enemy + music appears for 3 seconds, similar to when winning a battle. On the 3rd kill, the flame color will change to blue.

• Huo-long’s Head (legendary) – exhales smoke when fired.

  1. WG – PLEASE LET US TURN THESE OFF!

You, wisely, gave us the ability to turn off non-historic and / or fictional camo schemes. Best of both works. Those who want it can see it while the rest of us can be saved from some of the more . . . creative . . . schemes or styles.

PLEASE do the same with these 3d atrocities. Both the animated and static ones.

MANY of us are purists, and want to see just the tanks and something close to historic camo – even ‘paper’ tanks. As evidenced by the large number of people who go to or watch the Tankfest historic events.

  2. They want to attract younger players by turning the game into fortnite but with tanks… This of course, is a stupid idea and could never work. The clown camos and the bad taste 2Ds/3Ds could have easily been replaced by actual historical and experimental (or what ifs) camos used on real tanks and they could pick ideas from an endless selection practically. Also, 3D attachments, animated or not, could be smoke dispensers, laser rangefinders, strobe lights, IR/white light illuminators, explosive reactive armor blocks, mine plows, IR jammers and the list goes on…
