Random Events are expanding to two new Random Battle maps: Cliff and Siegfried Line. Each event scenario offers unique, evolving battlegrounds and tactical opportunities.
Cliff: Lighthouse Crash (Two-Part Random Event)
In this two-part event, a plane crashes into the lighthouse, sending debris to block key lines of sight and provide strategic cover. Here’s how each stage unfolds:
- Part 1: Lighthouse Impact and Debris Blocking
- Debris Obstruction: As the plane collides with the lighthouse, debris falls, blocking lines of sight and creating cover for vehicles ascending the mountain.
- Defensive Zone: The fallen debris forms a sheltering position near the lighthouse, where a vehicle can remain almost completely hidden.
- Central Shielding: Additional debris sections block central firing lines, protecting against shots from key map positions.
- Part 2: Plane Crash and Extended Cover
- Flank Blocking: The new debris obstructs critical firing lanes on one flank, adding cover for flanking maneuvers.
- Crossing Cover: Wreckage along the center protects players moving through central areas.
Siegfried Line: Carpet Bombing Random Event
This event unfolds with a bombing run over the urban map area, reshaping the terrain and creating new tactical opportunities.
- Destruction Effects: Certain buildings are leveled, passageways are opened, and new positions are created for both teams.
- New Cover: Debris forms defensive spots, including “balcony” positions, allowing for varied strategic use.
- Closed Firing Lanes: Some lines of sight are obstructed, making inter-direction movement safer.
- Open Passages: Clear paths allow for streamlined travel between city blocks.
- Additional Adjustments:
- Collision Zones: Destroyed areas become hazardous to vehicles upon impact, resulting in instant destruction.
- Cleared Vegetation: Existing foliage in impacted areas is removed for clearer sightlines and navigation.
Both events introduce new cover options and gameplay twists, encouraging fresh tactical approaches. To experience these events, make sure to enable “Maps Under Development” in your game settings.
