In 1957, the company G.O. Noville & Associates proposed their ideas for an amphibious tank as a counter to the Soviet PT-76 and BTR-50, designated the Amphibious Tank Alternate Concept. Among these ideas, the ATAC II project stood out as particularly interesting. This tank was conceptually similar to the PT-76 but was heavier and armed with a 90mm cannon. The hull was planned to be welded from rolled sheets, and the turret was cast. The result was a potentially interesting combat vehicle that combined powerful armament with high mobility and the ability to operate in marshy terrain. However, the U.S. military chose to pursue the AR/AAV program, which led to the development of the air-deployable M551 Sheridan tank.
the front half and the turret fit a ton of different real concepts, the problem is the rear that is a straight copy of the PT-76, plus the tracks and road wheels
Such a cute little mf that can clip people for a lot of dmg in no time, but unfortunately, it’s RU again.
The amount of content Lesta has been making since the departure is astounding, exactly opposite to the laziness of WG.
Since WG just dropped the new patch 2 weeks ago, it might take another 6 months before anything gets changed in our version of WoT.
