Work on rebalancing continues. We are reviewing the technical characteristics of various groups of tanks to ensure that all vehicles become in demand and effective on the battlefield.

Update 1.26 will be no exception. The characteristics of tanks from various branches will be adjusted.

For the 90 mm AC DCA 45 gun, a drum for 6 shells has been added. Reload time for a full drum is 36 sec. Reloading shells inside the drum is 2.3 seconds. The total number of shells is 84 pcs.
For the 100 mm AC SA47 gun, a drum for 4 shells has been added. Reload time for a full drum is 34 seconds. Reloading shells inside the drum is 2.5 seconds.

To make this branch of tanks relevant again and bring back interest in it, we decided to change some vehicle parameters.

In particular, improving the characteristics of the gun (dispersion, reload time) will increase the firepower of the vehicles. Increasing the reverse speed and maximum durability of some tanks will increase their survivability in battle. The AMX Foch B tank will have its engine power increased for the same purpose.

Pz.Kpfw. VII,  the armor of the gun mantlet and turret ring in the frontal projection will be changed.

The VK 45.02 (P) A  will also have a strengthened gun mantlet and all-round armor for both the hull and both turrets.

Pz.Kpfw. VII, Pz.Kpfw. VII 7×7, VK 45.02 B.  Currently, these vehicles are not in enough demand in the game. To increase their attractiveness, some parameters have been changed:

  • Pz.Kpfw. VII, Pz.Kpfw. VII 7×7  –  reload time, information, and reservations.
  • The  VK 45.02 B   has reload and aiming times, and vertical aiming angles.

VK 45.02 A  The vehicle did not fit into the concept of a branch of heavily armored assault heavy tanks and was not effective enough in battle. As part of update 1.26, it will be changed in accordance with the concept of the branch: the role of the tank will change, armor will be strengthened, mobility and other characteristics will be reduced.

Compared to vehicles of the same class, the tank is not effective enough in combat and is irrelevant.

To solve the problem, a number of equipment parameters will be improved: stabilization, accuracy and armor penetration of basic and special ammunition.

In addition, in order to achieve high levels of mobility, allowing you to quickly occupy key positions, the maximum forward speed will be improved.

The Chieftain T/95  in current realities has insufficient armor penetration, which does not allow it to effectively counteract other equipment. In addition, the maximum speed of the vehicle is not sufficient to solve the problems of a universal medium tank. Improving fire and dynamic performance will make the equipment more efficient and comfortable on the battlefield.

The FV 4202  does not stand out for its performance characteristics in comparison with other tanks of the same role. Changing the reload and aiming time, turret traverse speed and engine power will make the tank more interesting and comfortable.

AMERICAN TANKS

Tier VIII T95E2

The gun mantlet armor will also be changed:

Insufficient firepower, low mobility and a vulnerable zone in the gun mantlet do not allow the vehicle to compete with enemy medium tanks.

Improving the armor of the gun mantlet, as well as changing a number of other parameters (reload time, armor penetration, stabilization, engine power) will make it easier to play on this vehicle and make it more competitive.

  2. Despite all the hate, WoT RU is doing better and better!
    Those buffs to AMX 50 120 are extremely juicy! I still remember that horrible intra-clip reload combined with trollish gun while I was three-marking it… Despite a fairly old classic HT, downing it to 2,73 s, along with other buffs, does put a spotlight on it! Sadly, WoT Eu is busy with other stuff…

  5. RU server might be not that good after what just happened, but still at least their buff of tanks and making them relevant again in todays meta just miles better than WG EU.

    Just look at the PZ7 buffs on RU and compare it to EU.
    While this wont make the PZ 7 op, but still makes the armor more reliable and you wont feel like butter on the shoulders… Meanwhile what EU gets is a small mantlet buff lmfao.

  6. Also, remember the buffs on Concept 5? It now has 75 km/h base top speed and proper camo, which propelled it from being a complete trash to being a valid choice in Clan Wars/Onslaught! In the meantime, this thing is still getting wrecked every single battle in WoT EU/NA
