Why not? They may not get the same currency (like before) as Asia, but generally the tank is the same.
Why, nowadays there are more armored tanks in T8 without overmatchable roof and with overall better guns.

False. It has bad armor too. Roof easily overmatched like IS-3. Cupolas easy pen, driver hatch easy pen.
Tank is utter trash, and it has the old is-3 30mm roof plate on the turret. The armor is really good, but other than that… On paper all stats look horrible. I am sure wg won’t sell tier viii for credits very soon. Progetto will likely be for gold
On level ground this tank does not fight head on, it presents at a fairly steep angle because it’s side armour is as strong as it’s front and doing that makes the thinnest plate it presents, that isn’t a weakspot, a small 230 section while the rest of it is 300+, or if it’s hulldown (with it’s poor 6 degrees of gun depression) it has 300+ everywhere with no weakspots exposed at all. This thing will get you those poorly designed blocking missions with ease.
Then all the downsides are spamming gold, on the painful end of slow, russian accuracy, fairly blind with view range and near chinese gun depression.
Also 30 km/h. This tank is just horrible. Would the armor really make up for literally everything else? Doubt it

the only thing this thing has going for it is armor and while it is generally idiot-proof it has the one glaring weakspot

Bad mobility + bad gun depression = unpleasant gameplay.
Trash gun handling = keyboard smashing.
Armor requires a bit of angling knowledge to make full use of that 150mm side but what’s the point when everyone can overmatch your bloody turret?
This trash thing is worthless and it’s not even beginner-friendly.
Such a poor design, can only milk some collectors or clueless pigeons.
Because I won’t get it, it will be insta buffed after the auction, and become the latest OP toy.
