WoT: Arcade Cabinet – New Year’s Launch


DATES:
End of December. 3 separate launches.

A new iteration of the mode with interesting combat mechanics has already been added to the client. This launch added 3 remade maps in winter setting:
• Karelia
• Malinovka
• Prokhorovka
All these 3 maps are now covered with a dense layer of snow, and almost all the water is frozen, opening up new options for maneuvers. Unfortunately, weather effects were not added to the maps. Also, 3 current winter maps from the client (not redistributed) will be added to the map roster:
• Mannerheim Line
• Glacier
• Erlenberg

1st launch of Arcade Cabinet: Ice Age – Battles with modified mobility parameters.
If you got to the rink in a multi-ton car, then you have 2 options: feel like a cow on ice or show what a stylish drift is. The spread has been reduced to compensate, and festive shot effects will add to the atmosphere of the event.

2nd launch of Arcade Cabinet: Snowball fight – Fights with modified projectile parameters.
Become a high-explosive monster no matter what you play. The armor penetration of main and special shells has been reduced, but the damage of high-explosive fragmentation shells has been increased. The type of ammunition is fully consistent with the atmosphere of the holiday.

3rd launch of Arcade Cabinet is currently unknown, but it will include 15vs15 battles.

  1. I would rather have Frontlines to play during the Holiday Ops. I can’t stand Randoms, and Arcade Cabinet is just a worse form of Randoms for the most part. Doesn’t add anything worthwhile or different from the tired old Randoms.

    1. Frontline is nothing than a pure grind. It’s just boring.
      At least in Random you will be cursing and you will be laughing.
      Most importantly, you will feel good when you 3-mark a tank.
      Or you can say that “I’m a 5k DPG gAmEr and marking is too eAsY for me”, also can work pretty well.

    So back to pre-nerf he

    1. to many things need fixing……..and if they even fix something it will be done by breaking two other things…. its past point of safe return…..only thing is to see how long it last

  3. Malinovka with all the water being frozen to ice is intreguing… Opens up the entire southwest corner (on minimap) for flankings and obviously the in the middle for crossing from middle up or from top down.
