Fresh news from the Supertest as the new Škoda T56, a Tier VIII Czechoslovakian heavy tank, heads over to the early test server.
The vehicle is equipped with a 130 mm caliber, 2-shell autoloader. Its damage per shot is 460 HP, with a reload time between shots within the magazine of 4 s, and a magazine reload time of 25 s. The penetration values of the standard (AP) and special (HEAT) shells are 208 and 290 mm, respectively. The aiming time is 2.9 s, and the gun dispersion is 0.4 m.
In terms of survivability and mobility, this is a typical heavy tank. The thickness of the frontal turret armor reaches 220 mm, with a durability of 1,500 HP. The vehicle has a specific power of 13.5 h.p./t which enables it to reach speeds of up to 35 km/h.
The Škoda T56 stands out primarily for its gun, but its other parameters are decent, too. The combination of high firepower and decent survivability allows this heavy tank to perform effectively in any combat situation.
The Škoda T56, is the second Czech heavy to enter the battlefield but it won’t be last.
