We have more news from the supertest, this time regarding maps!
Let’s start with the second iteration of the Island 2020 map, changed after the first Supertest.
General Description
- Map size: 1000×1000 meters
- Game mode: Standard Battle
- Setting: Tropical island
Changes compared to the first iteration:
- Fully reworked the beach area, adding more space for maneuvers and spotting.
- Added high ground for TDs at the arch area to control the beach, which corresponds to the opposite team’s position near the castle.
- Reworked the area with high ground for TDs near the lake. Positions are not as massive anymore.
- Reworked the hill to fix the drive-on timings and balance the positions.
- Widened the central street leading downwards in the town. Streets now have more intersections.
Now let’s look at the second map, Graf Zeppelin.
General Description
- Map size: 1000×1000 meters
- Game mode: Standard Battle
- Setting: Winter
Gameplay.
- Area for maneuverable vehicles around the crashed zeppelin in the center of the frozen lake.
- Closed zeppelin hangars for heavy tanks.
- Spaces for tank destroyers.
- Open area for medium tanks and maneuverable vehicles.
First map I’m fairly certain is the island map from console, but I mean that’s a pretty good map if memory serves me right so I cant complain
And the second map looks pretty good as well, hopefully they push through with these maps and continue to tweak them slightly, we need more maps in the rotation cause holy fuck is it getting annoying seeing the same 4 maps in a row every 6 games
