Wargaming opens a new subdivision, Wargaming Nexus

Wargaming has opened a new division, Nexus. Interestingly, the WG jobs themselves appeared long before the announcement.

Wargaming studio entered into a partnership agreement with Epic Games, which resulted in the creation of projects based on the Unreal Engine 4. Since then, developers have already managed to implement six promising prototypes and now it’s time to take another step forward.

Wargaming has announced the opening of a new division, designated Wargaming Nexus. The team will focus on creating mobile products with a high level of potential, unique mechanics and gameplay elements, as well as support for cross-platform. At the same time, the work will be carried out both by the studio itself and in cooperation with external partners, and the projects will be based on Unreal Engine 4 technologies, which provide ample opportunities for creating mobile games.

“The principle on which we build Wargaming Nexus is innovation in everything: in team building, work practices, technologies used and products created. We create a strong team of professionals from around the world with a backbone of proven Wargaming fighters with a wide range of expertise and a deep understanding of the players and their preferences. All this together will provide the desired result “,- Nikolay Nebyshinets, who heads Wargaming Nexus, declared.

In addition, as part of the White Nights conference, which will be held in St. Petersburg from June 19 to June 20, the Wargaming Nexus division announces the first project being developed in collaboration with Epic Games, and will share its future plans.

Wargaming Nexus invites collaboration studios involved in the development and prototyping of games on the Unreal Engine 4, and high-class professionals with experience in the mobile gaming industry, ready to join the team with ambitious goals.
