  1. Low tiers are going to be a mess when the AM 39 is given out. Forget firing the gun, we play Destruction Derby. 😛

      1. Here’s some friendly advice. If you have to stat shame someone for the lols, at least do so after you did your homework and know the stats of the person you want to shame. 🙂

  2. Is it just me, or do Emil 1951 stats look… A bit underwhelming? Decent mobility, only mediocre armor for a heavy (quick check on the shows that against for example a Tier 9 Conqueror it wouldn’t have many chances to fight against, even fully hull-down if Conq would use Premium APCR it would have a 50-50 chance to pen frontally and even 2/3 chance of penning frontal sides on EMIL max gun depression (for comparison, normal AP would give 1/5 chance frontally and 1/3 chance to frontal sides), gun stats leave wanting more (DPM seems not good but good gun depression and autoloader).
Seems like this tank will be good to fight against Tier 8, but not great to use against Tier 9 or Tier 10.

      1. Well yes, and no. Of course, it’s a Tier 8, but with the current matchmaking, if the stats stay as they are, it will not be very popular I feel, probably because there are still better alternatives for Tier 8 heavies (*cough Defender *cough*). But then again, I might be just talking sh*t after all since I haven’t touched the Swedish line at all yet.

        1. Then again, think about this: given that the proposed MM changes ARE coming soon ™, if WG implements these proposed MM changes with the result that tier 8’s will start to see less tX battles. Thus see more mid and top tier battles.

The what version of the Emil 1951 would be better for balance in your opinion?
          – this current version; or
          – “a” version that is more suited to fight in the current MM environment that is going to be changed?

Tank content in my opinion should be balanced in their tier, also premium ones, and not vs the environment they currently (what ever is current!) face.
Because environments can change, and if content is balanced vs an environment and not similar content, than one gets powercreep etc.

    1. Well there isn’t much you can do with Swedish heavies to you know…actually make them good.

      1. Yeah, I understand you. Still, I think +10mm turret armor would be nice, especially for hull-down. But then again, I haven’t played the line so I don’t know the tanks in that line well.

  3. What I don’t get is people whining about the T2 wheeled tank when you have a tank like the T2 light racing around with 72, basically they made another useless wheeled tank making the total number 7

    1. What I fund interesting is not just the speed but gun soft stats, comparable to tier 9 mediums! It has low DPM, but in good hands it can be very dangerous, especially against new players.

  4. 242 pen prem ammo for tier 8 HT that will be middle or bottom tier 66%-75% of the time.
    Yeah. Thanks.

    1. Like the normal Emil 1. Also the guns on the swedish heavies are derpy as shit despite their “accuracy” stats.
