Supertest: SU-130PM (+STATS)

UPDATED WITH STATS.

Today we are starting to close tests of the new Soviet Tier VIII tank destroyer, the Su-130PM. While working on its statistics, we used the SU-100P as a starting point. The SU-100P was a post-war prototype of a light tank destroyer, which was to gradually displace the SU-76M in service. The fully operational vehicle passed the tests, and the SU-100P got the green light to serve in the army, but the tank destroyer did not enter mass production. The test unit is at the moment in the Kubinka tank museum.

New tier 8 premium (light) TD.

    1. Eh, lacking info in this article. Its a 130mm gun. 520 alpha. 240 something pen. Its totally made up. But you know that never stops Wargaming. This tank is actually a prototype called the SU-100P Its real, it sits in Kubinka right now. But was never produced, obviously. Infact the REAL tank itself is in Warthunder.

  1. Hmm… what happened to the T-103?
Is there a likeliness that it will be turned into a standard vehicle?

    1. with this SU-130P being added the rumor of the lightly-armoured turreted line with the Taran (Object 120) at tier 10 becomes even more possible, and they did say recently something might happen with the T-103, and so it could be a case of them understanding that the gameplay of the T-103 as a crew trainer for the new line would be different from being better protected and then decided to take the chance to release a proper trainer premium and earn a few more bucks with it, but this is just speculation on my part

    1. When the Skorpion G came out is when it all went downhill for balanced premium tanks

  2. finally i can rape skorpions, if this thing has good HE shells and keeps the ROF ill Actually get it. all ive ever wanted is a high alpha premium, skipped the skorpion because 490 on a TD is small in tier 8. i wish it had 560 or 550 alpha with 232 pen instead, maybe with 265 gold pen. .38 base accuracy and 2.5 aim

    1. are you too stupid to notice this means there will be a third turreted russian td line? this seems to be where the t103 and the 268 5 come into play. quit crying

    1. considering they made an asston of tank designs during WW II and the early cold war are you surprised?

  3. What are WG waiting for buff E-100? stop create new russian bias tank , and make old tank playable and competitive

  4. Of course we needed a soviet Skorpion.
Except with more alpha and a lower profile.

Meanwhile the Chimera is as hard to obtain as the Obj260 but it\’s just a T-34-3 with 50 more dmg per shot and no turret armor.

  5. -Tovarish, the most popular premium is German!
-Da, don\’t worry, it will be fixed soon ))))))))

Meanwhile, half the tech trees in the game are one or two lanes.

  6. another russian BIAS… another tank to crash the game balance, another wallet warrior gun , ANOTHER SHOOT WITHOUT AIM TANK… Oh God…

  7. I cannot be possible, that one of the best T8 Prem TDs is German! We need a russian thing which is better! Just because we can! There is no need for an actually historical prototype, we made one ourself. We know that our playerbase will rage about it- and then buy it with shamefully red face, as every time. We know that most of them like it deep in their throat and they will do it again and again and again.

  8. WTF !!! WG why you bring out a better skorpion G ??? are you serious??? holy shit, this thing has better alpha, better dpm, better camo !! and i think better ground resistance too….mmmh this is fucking cheated !!! REPORT WG AND DONT BUY THIS FUCKING STUFF !!! stop with the game now !

    1. worse armor, rear mounted turret(cant peak and retreat safely), worse aimetime, MUCH WORSE ACCURACY, worse power ratio, worse movement dispersion, worse ground resistance and you call this power creep cause it fires less than half a second faster and 30 alpha. did i mention it has less standard pen, and heat gold? skorp has APCR. when tanks just enter the testing, they always get nerfed. these stats are pre nerf.

  9. It’s just another brick in the shit wall WG is building right now. More power creep – more and stronger pay to win elements.

  10. I\’ll be damned if I buy this or any other premium for the foreseeable future. The game is so broken right now, and Wargaming just keep on making idiotic decisions … those wheeled tanks will just be the next in a long serious of very poor design moves. Wargaming would be well advised to put their energy into trying to fix the problems of their game instead of bombarding us with new premiums.

    1. dude, give them a chance. two shells in the clip and 310 arty view range in tier 8? thats enought to make you cry? even 85 kph top speed isnt that nuts. i hit 72 easy

      1. oops sorry, this is about the new wheeled tanks. also it isnt just me who accurately hits tanks going 72kph, everyone apparently can, just play the elc even or rhm pzw. did you know the wheeled vehicles hulltraverse is halved when in wheel mode?(high speeds)

  11. Sure this isn\’t a light tank…. 50m more view range than the new T8 French Light tank. It could be Russian bias but of course there is no such thing.

    1. the WZ120 gft has 200 more dpm, 400 base view range (compare it to 360) and you cry about this tank? wrong place.

  12. Don\’t let the weakish stats full you. It\’s russian and OP as fuck. Has to be better than the Scorpion, right?

  13. This thing has less armor than the skorpion, turret restrictions, .06 more dispersion (.29 vs .35), slower aimtime than the skorpion (2.21 vs 1.92), worse power/weight and movement dispersion values and people have knives at WGs throat saying its a power creeped skorpion. the playerbase is doomed.

  14. Better than the Scorpion G in almost every way.

THERE IS NO RUSSIAN BIAS IN THIS GAME!

    1. Skorpion has more armor, better power ratio, faster aim speed, INCOMPARABLE ACCURACY (.29 vs .35), a turret (isu-130pm doesn\’t even have more than -90 restrictions), better movement dispersion, a center mounted turret (isu130pm cant fire and retreat safely because it is a rear mount.), better standard pen and APCR gold (HEAT stinks in MOST cases) and you think this tank is better? you only know how to complain.

  15. This thing looks like it\’s based on the Akatsiya SPG, the chassis is the same. And one thing makes it better than the Skorpion – the crew matches all the relevant Soviet TDs (268 line from SU-152 onwards and Object 263 and Object 268 v4), whereas Skorpion is crap as a trainer for high tier German tank destroyers.
