WoT Supertest – Progetto M35 mod 46 (vol. 1)

This machine is a typical medium tank with rather thin armor, which was typical for the euro tank building school at the time. The focus was on mobility, firepower, and gun depression. The most important however are the new reloading mechanics.

How it works? To keep it simple, it allows a hybrid non-clip/autoloader gameplay. The autoloader part is where we have a few rounds with an inter-clip reload, but after expending those, the reload is performed not en-masse, whole clip, but shell after shell with reload times getting higher the more ammo you expended in the ‘clip’ (8 for the 1st, 11 for the 2nd, 14 for the 3rd shell). Reloading is automatic, so you can forget about the C button.

    1. Aced My T69 last night in a decent game, was experiencing bad lag too, circled a T28 to death while bouncing his shots lol……T69 is fine, maybe a little pen buff on AP

      1. Ready rack vehicles in AW have huge negatives, like the Centauro having zero usable armor. Seems to be the case here, as well. I don’t think the Centauro is OP in AW so I’m sure they can make the mechanic work decently well here. The real problem is that getting caught out by a fast firing gun doesn’t have nearly as bad an effect in AW as it does in WoT.

    1. I don’t know if it’s my age showing, but I just aren’t getting it. I also think WG are making up a lot of this ( NO WAY !!!). When you’re ejecting, where do they go. On the floor ? A magical time-space warp ? How huge would the turret need to be for this ??
      .
Well, just like my attitude to the Swiss TD’s, “that’s nice”. I also have better things to grind for, another made-up line is NOT one of them.

      1. Probably the same place they do in almost every other tank in existence….
So yes, the floor, unless they use combustible cases.

  1. How OP is that.
You have the ability to do burst damage like an autoloader but in case shit goes wrong you can still fire like a normal tank.

I sincerely hope this won’t make it to the game.
Autoloaders are already rather overpowered in the high tiers, and this rank will make them all obsolete by being even more overpowered. And what’s next ? ATGMs ? FS ammo ? Tanks that can switch to arty mode ? Stop !

Whoever is in charge of balance needs to be fired asap, really this guy has no clue what he is doing.

    1. Yeah, the big bonus is that while nothing is happening you are passively reloading your ready rack and are pretty much ready to fire at any time, and you will wait at most 8 seconds before firing next shot.

      1. Not true! If your clip is full und you fire a shot you have 8 secs before clip ist full again. But if your clip is empty you have to wait 16 secs for the first ammo to be fired again!!!

        1. Well yeah, this was before the video came out. :) I think that’s a fair balancing mechanic. Overall ready rack seems to be a compromise between single shot and autoloader and shouldn’t prove to be too OP.

    2. Autoloaders arent OP by design (see T69) but some tank with autoloader are OP and if you get outplayed i by autoloader you would probably get outplayed by same player in normal tank

      1. Pretty much this. Autoloaders are mostly just really good at punishing mistakes (which goes as much for the autoloading tank as it does for the enemy).

  2. So I’m guessing it’s like a revolver, I wonder if other American tanks would get that system because not all American autoloaders have the same loading system. For example iirc the T58 would’ve been very similar to a revolver

  3. Autloaders are a joke and should never enter wot to beginn with. A few os okay but now 50% out of all high tier tanks are autloaders.

    1. What? Those are pretty bold claims buddy. There are only 21 tanks with autoloaders that are tier 8 and above(20 if you don’t include the Elc even 90),so no,autoloaders are not overpowered at all.The most OP tanks at tier 10 are not autoloaders, like the Super Conq, the really unbalanced Type 5 and the really powerful new tier 10 russian heavy, the object 705a.The only thing you see as autoloaders at tier 10 is the Foch B,the Kranvagn(although hardly anyone plays it),maybe a BC 155 58 even if that thing is garbage now),but mostly, its the batchat, the TVP T50,and a T57 heavy or two.

Amx 50b?Nobody plays it,that thing is huge and has no armor, besides,in the current meta you can’t unload all your shells unless you play the heavy tanks with autoloaders like mediums.Never heard anyone calling the batchat “OP”,or a TVP T 50.Looks like you have been playing badly and just standing in front of autoloaders and getting **** all day long to have an opinion like that.

        1. typical polish behavior.
Argument -> resolution from someone else -> ur stats are shit.
Also: Polish players cannot into auto loaders. Pawel_PL = Polish players. Confirmed nigger.

  4. I cant seem to grasp this quantum physics autoloader business. Can someone dumb it down sufficiently for me? Basically, don’t be greedy?

    1. For those asking wtf this is, to me this sounds like a ready rack – which is having a bunch of rounds close by the loader to be loaded very quickly. After a shot is fired, loader proceeds to replace shells in the ready rack, which takes longer than cycling rounds from the rack, rinse, repeat.

    1. I assume that if you have 2 shells in clip, with 3rd loading, and start loading gold, the 3rd shell’s reload will start over and will now be premium shell, and you have to fire the 2 standard you have loaded in the drum to get premium.

    1. I saw and then was thinking- WG declare they made tank autentic, so this skull is pat of it. Morons WG.

So how to calculate dpm of this tank? What is soft stats of gun handling? Camo rate? Gun depression?
