Chinese tank replica made of 50.000 shells revealed

This natural sized model was revealed this weekend in Northeast China.

The life-sized Type 99 was first shown at the Museum of Industry and Science last Saturday, managing to surprise the visitors with its originality. The museum where you can find this replica is located in Shenyang, in China’s Liaoning province, and the material used to create it was provided by the army. The tank was assembled using 48.356 shells, belonging to 10 different types of ammunition. Replicating every detail – from tracks to decals, the weight of this creation is 6.5 tons. Source: CGTN.
