  1. 2700 dpm, om a tier 8 TD? LUL, that is more dpm than most tier 10 HTs AND tier 10 TDs. Nice joke WG, you really are digging your own powercreep grave arnt you? Phony ass developers and murazor you are a dick for approvoing these absurd tanks into the game, that makes ALL other regular tier 8 tenks obsolete, prick jude.

    1. DPM is just one stat. Its armor is shit, mobility is shit and camo will be most likely shit as well. I wouldn’t cry OP yet.

      1. Expect it seems to be surprisingly mobile for such a fat fuck, and armor might be bad but considering turret shape and 100mm side armor it will bounce sometimes.

But yea it doesnt seem THAT broken, but we will see.

        1. 15,87 HP/ton paired with 30 d/s rotation speed are pretty meh overall. Combine that with those quite shitty ground resistance parameters and you see it won’t be nimble at all. Its mobility will be decent at most but that’s not really sufficient with paper armor like this.

          1. Pretty much. E5 has better p/w, better terrain resistances and better traverse, while being limited to just a lil bit less speed. And while E5 is now slow, I don’t think anybody would call it fast if it was a paper tank just like this TD is.

The DPM whine is dumb too, ISU 152 has similar DPM with 750 alpha, Charioteer has worse DPM but on more mobile platform with very similar gun apart from alpha (although ok, Charioteer’s armor is worse, it can get penned by HE and will not bounce pretty much anything, this might get the occasional troll bounce).

        1. Nothing is ‘the other way around’. Both of them are based on T-100.

  2. holy shit this things gigantic how the hell are you suooosed to hide something this huge because you want lead a charge because the armors non existent

      1. i have not. i refuse to grind that line until they do something with the challenger.

        1. They did. Challenger plays kinda like a medium tank now. Better gun handling than when I played it and tbh the gun depression, speed and DPM made it good enough for me. Tbh Conway and FV4005 were much worse for me.

  3. It is not going to be a bad tank, I’m just annoyed that it is a prem instead of a new mini line that could branch off from SU-152 and KV-3

    1. And before too many people cry about this being too stronk, look at the armor design on the sides, it can’t side-scrape like a HT so it should be similar to T28 Prot when comes to the playstyle

      1. Not really, T28 can at least hope to bounce shots from the front. This thing is an autopen for anything past tier 5, its like a Skorpion that has enough armor to hope to bounce rushed shots while it moves (to make up for the worse speed).

  4. With this hp/t ratio the tank wont be as slow as some people made it sound. Its actualy pretty impressive for a tank this size.

So basicaly its a turreted SU-100Y two tiers higher with IS-7 pen. Interesting. Big punchy gun but no armor and huge target, this is pretty much a soviet Skorpion : it hits hard but when its spotted its dead.

I want it just because it’s ugly lol.

  5. >Engine: 1000 hp

    BULL-SHIT.

If the USSR had had the capability to toss out a 1000hp engine like it’s no big deal in 1939/1940, don’t you think they would have shoved it into a KV-1 or IS hull as soon as the opportunity presented itself?

I guarantee you, this tank’s engine never would have topped 850hp.

      1. SU-100Y was later vehicle on the same platform, 850HP engine. Where did the last 150 hp go between this and the SU-100Y?

        Oh right, it never existed.

    1. i think the kv4 if it was built was going to use 2 engines to power it. i mean thats what the module name suggests in wot (yeah i know wots not exactly a reliable source but still) plus according to wot qgain a lot of the japanese hts had twin powerplants same with tiger p.

  6. So, someone found an old T-26, decided that “Nah, not big enough!” grabbed an airpump and plugged it in the tank.
    Holy carapace.

  7. From side it really reminds me to Strv M/42 lol.
    Hmm.
Well, it has turret so i will keep a lookout for this one.

  8. Could this be a preliminary to the developement/addition to a turretted TD line for russia? (Russian 3rd Tech tree would be in the similar to the waffentrager line in light armor for a turret, really big guns)
As I understand such a tree could be easily made, there are enough vehicles/designs for such a thing.
